A qualified refrigeration mechanic with 25 years of experience in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. Shaun’s knowledge covers all sections of the industry from hands on tools approach to Management. Shaun has been an Apprentice starting at the age of 17 years old, Tradesman, Site Manager, Project and Service Manager. Shaun was based in Queensland but has worked in remote locations and overseas, including Port Moresby in 2016. Shaun is now the Group Service Manager who is dedicated to SPAC future.
Darren has worked in the HVAC industry since 1984. He has worked for York, Carrier and Trane in Australia, Brunei, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Russia, Singapore, UK, Canada and Papua New Guinea. His experience covers large air conditioning chillers, as well as refrigeration and installation projects for all makes and sizes. From domestic fridges and split air conditioning systems to the technical teaching of the trade, Darren can do it all. He started working for SPAC Ltd in 2017.
A qualified and licensed Electrician, Raga joined SPAC Ltd in April 2010. Whilst he has an Electrical background, Raga has worked in the Air Conditioning industry since completing his apprenticeship 30 years ago. Apart from managing the daily service operations, Raga has also supervised a number of minor projects including leading the HVAC team to the Highlands LNG site during the construction phase in 2013.
Esther joined SPAC Ltd in 2009 as Operations Manager in the Service Division. Esther has more than 13 years’ experience in Customer Service. Having worked in Financial operations throughout her career, Esther is driven by productivity and has applied her professional experience in her role as Customer Service Manager. Esther has been leading and motivating her Customer Service team in providing and implementing the best customer service by providing help to customers using SPACs products and services.
Kila joined SPAC Ltd in 2006 as Assistant Service Manager and has over 35 years’ experience in the air conditioning industry. Successfully supervising over 20 service staff and specialising in chiller plants, VRF Systems and IT cooling systems, Kila has a wealth of knowledge. To harness that knowledge, Kila attended and passed his Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in 2016. He was promoted to Training in the newly opened training facility at SPAC’s head office.
Aaron started with the company in January 2017 to supervise and manage our modern fabrication techniques, in the new 1,000sqm sheet metal fabrication facility. Aaron is a qualified Sheet Metal Tradesman with over 10 years’ experience in the air conditioning and sheet metal fabrication industry. Aaron takes pride in delivering a quality product and outcome, for all projects. He is a valued member of the SPAC Ltd team.
Marlin gained extensive PNG experience as an Installation Manager and Service Technician. He commenced work as an Installation Manager with SPAC Ltd in September 2017, as we had been awarded the LDL/OPH project. Marlin is a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic and has over 10 years’ experience in service and installation. He takes great pride in his work, is a dynamic leader and committed team player. He also has extensive experience working in mine sites and remote locations; as a result, he has great attention to detail, scheduling and delivery of projects under challenging and diverse conditions.
Tony commenced work as an Installation Manager with SPAC Ltd in September 2017, as we had been awarded the LDL/OPH project. The site has two residential towers, with a large commercial area at ground/podium levels. His team has the task to install full mechanical services throughout the project site. Tony is a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic with over 20 years’ experience in the commercial and industrial sectors of the trade, in both service and installation. This includes supermarket refrigeration, oil and gas (offshore and onshore), marine refrigeration, abattoirs, mining, large mechanical services projects and industrial sites, with experience in large ammonia and C02 plants. He has extensive experience working in Australia, including remote locations and overseas in the Solomon Islands.
Jacqueline joined SPAC Ltd in 2007 as a Receptionist and through training, has held several roles with the company during her employment. After obtaining a Diploma in Accounting she was promoted to Finance Supervisor in 2013 and Administration Manager in 2017 and is a valued member of staff.
