Rob is the major shareholder and owner of SPAC Ltd. In October 2018 Rob was granted Dual Citizenship of Papua New Guinea. Rob is an Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Mechanic by trade and has been involved in the mechanical services industry (air conditioning / refrigeration) for over 43 years. The Doyle family is currently into its third generation of refrigeration mechanics. Rob’s father is a former business owner in Sydney and Mildura and now Rob’s son Jake is following in his footsteps, working in the industry in Cairns (QLD, Australia). Both of Rob’s younger brothers also work within the air conditioning industry. Rob’s extensive background includes work on chilled water systems, data room support systems and VRF and VRV systems. Rob was instrumental in bringing new inverter technology into PNG. He is also a registered commissioning agent of the Australian Mechanical Contractors Association. He has successfully managed and operated contracting businesses in Australia and Papua New Guinea for over 20 years. Rob is also a member of Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH). Rob’s equipment training includes: Daikin, Fujitsu, Power Pax, Trane, Carrier, Email Air, York, MHI, Midea, Schneider, Innotech, Climventa, Bitzer and numerous smaller branded equipment.
Ivy joined SPAC Ltd in April 2014. Ivy is a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants and PNG Certified Practicing Accountants. Ivy has over 15 years of professional experience in the field of administration, accountancy and finance. Ivy contributes to the improvement and success of the company through her significant involvement in the strategic planning, creation of policy, procedures and controls. Ivy consistently meets the company’s goals and financial targets.
Steven has lived in Papua New Guinea since 1999 and commenced work in August of 2007 with SPAC Ltd, as Project Manager. His consistent work has seen him rise to his current position as General Manager, Projects. Steven brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge and experience. He has a diploma in Project Management and is a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic and long-term member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers Inc (ASHRAE), he is also a member of AIRAH. Steven has 35 years’ experience in the refrigeration / air conditioning industry and has attended many manufacturers training courses including PowerPax (SMARDT), Midea, Fujitsu, Innotech, Email, Temperzone, Trane & LG. During his time with SPAC Ltd, Steven has handed over in excess of 180 major projects to our valued clients. He takes pride in the fact that whilst maintaining unparalleled quality in all aspects of his field, he has never handed a project over late.
Steve is currently the Chairman of the Industrial Technical Committee for Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (ITC-RAC) in Papua New Guinea. This organization has prepared a nationally recognized industry and training package for endorsement and consists of national occupational skills standards for RAC Mechanics throughout PNG.
Bruce has been in the Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Industry for over 43 years, starting as an Apprentice Refrigeration Mechanic and progressing to Managerial roles in Australia and Papua New Guinea. Over the past 23 years he has trained, mentored and worked alongside many Pacific Islanders, with the past 10 years spent in PNG. Bruce has experience working with domestic and commercial air con and chillers, as well as commercial, marine and industrial refrigeration. Having first visited PNG in 1989 as a tourist, he is no stranger to the country and has travelled extensively around the nation working in this industry.
